I decided to take the plunge and buy myself a new yoga mat. I’d been carrying around the same mat since high school even though I’ve really only been serious about yoga since mid last year. You know the one–it’s the standard thin purple mat that slips as soon as class gets sticky. It wasn’t a particularly awful mat, but it wasn’t anything special either.
